This is a reminder that the club AGM will be held next week, Thursday 24th July at 7:30PM in the club rooms. Please see the details below:

WHAT: Carrum Sailing and Motor Boat Club Annual General Meeting
WHEN: THURSDAY 24th July 2025. Arrive 7:15PM for a 7:30PM start
WHERE: CSMBC club rooms, 7-13 Johnson Avenue, Carrum VIC 3197 

VOTING AND COMMITTEE ELIGIBILITY
According to the club constitution only full members can vote at an AGM or hold committee postiions.

All other members (associate and social) are however most welcome at the AGM to express their views. The elected committee may invite nominations from non-voting members to act as representatives to the committee

PROXIES
According to our constitution, "a member may appoint another member as his or her proxy to vote and speak on his or her behalf at a general meeting." If you would like to appoint a proxy, please fill in this proxy form. The form can be:
- Given to the chairperson before or at the commencement of the meeting
- Or returned electronically (to this email address) or by post (PO Box 505 Patterson Lakes 3197) no later than 24 hours before the commencement of the meeting

AGENDA
- Opening and introduction from the CSMBC president as chair.
- Confirmation of quorum of members
- Note on any members proxies or “electronic” attendance
- Confirmation of the minutes of last AGM, available to download here.
- Annual report of the committee on the activities of the club during the previous year, 2024/2025
- Financial statements of the club for the proceeding financial year, 2024/2025
- Election of members for the committee
- Confirmation of the club's annual subscriptions
- AGM closing by president

After the closing of the formal AGM, the old committee and new committee will open an “any other business” session, to include any questions and answers from members and social members.
